About this template

Vitrex is a portfolio for designers and studios who want the site itself to be proof of craft.

It opens on an infinite wall of glass cards, each holding a project. The glass is real — a WebGL shader refracts every image, so cards ripple and split into color at the edges of the screen while the one in front of you stays perfectly clear. The wall drifts slowly on its own. When you scroll, it reorganizes: the cards gather into a single column on the right and fall past you, project by project, while your resume plays out beside them — profile, experience, capabilities, recognition, contact. One page, one continuous motion.

Every card links to a full case study. Sixteen are included, completely written and art-directed, all driven by the CMS — so replacing the placeholder work with your own is editing, not rebuilding.

How the home page works

The wall. An endless drifting grid of refractive glass cards. A short entry sequence with a loading counter plays first, so images never pop in.

The reassembly. As you scroll, one card per project detaches and glides into a vertical column; the extras dissolve. It reads as one camera move.

The resume. Five sections cross-fade beside the falling column: Profile, Experience, Capabilities, Recognition, Contact. Giant background numerals mark your place, and a small index in the corner tracks the section.

The cards stay clickable the whole way down.

Entry sequence with a real loading counter

Custom cursor: a dot with a trailing ring that tightens over links (mouse devices only; touch is untouched)

Page transitions between every page

Film grain, vignette, and a glass-tint accent color used consistently

Typography loaded for you: Switzer for display and text, JetBrains Mono for labels — both free for commercial use

Favicon and social-share image included, editable on a design page inside the project
