Vellum is a cinematic website for a creative studio, built around the question every studio site dodges: what will this cost?

Most studios answer "it depends" and a contact form, which is why the first call is so often spent discovering that the budget was never in range. Vellum puts a working scope estimator on the services page. A visitor picks a project type, a scale, any add-ons and a timeline, and sees an investment range, a duration in weeks and a deliverables count update on every click, with no email asked for. On the shipped rates a standard website on a fixed date reads 5,000 to 7,000 over 4 to 6 weeks; a full launch at extensive scale reads 16,500. Every rate lives in one object at the top of the code file, so repricing the whole thing is one edit.

Nine pages: home, work index, a CMS case study template, services, studio, contact, privacy, terms and a custom 404, all laid out for desktop, tablet and phone with a drawer navigation. Work is a CMS collection. Each project carries its own cover, hero image, scope, result figure and rich text body, and those fields drive the full-bleed panels on the home page, the index grid and the detail page at once, so adding a project never means editing a page.

The motion is the product: a split-text opening, a discipline ticker, parallax on the project panels, scroll-driven type on the dark method panel, and a sticky aside on services. Bodoni Moda over IBM Plex Sans, and every colour comes from one of eight tokens, so rebranding is a colour change rather than a rebuild.
