Playmat TCG
Card style portfolio for designers
Free
An interactive portfolio for brand, product and packaging designers, illustrators, and studios. It presents projects as collectible cards in a trading-card-game-inspired binder, with case files showcasing results, services, client quotes, and galleries.
About this template
Playmat TCG is a portfolio template that turns your work into a trading card game.
Rip open the pack
Visitors land on a sealed foil pack. Drag across the top to tear it open and your designer card slides out. Flip it to read your field guide: what you do, how you work and how to book you.
A binder, not a grid
Projects live in a binder of sleeved cards, colour coded by discipline. Each one opens a full case file with results, services, a client quote and a gallery. Previous and next cards loop through the set.
Printed in two inks
The look is riso print: pink and cyan halftones, an overprinted word behind every page, hard offset shadows and a hand cursor that grabs the pack.
What's included
6 pages: Home, Work, case file, About, Contact and 404.
Projects CMS with 6 sample projects, disciplines and colours.
Shared layout template for the masthead, dock, backdrop and cursor.
Code components: pack opening, flip card, project deck, ability cards, summon card, review deck, career line, project phases, client binder, award badges and a live local clock.
Contact form, page titles and descriptions, favicon and share image.
Desktop, tablet and phone layouts.
