Farthing

About this template

Farthing is a warm, editorial template for small accountancy practices: chartered accountants, bookkeepers and tax advisers who want to look established and approachable. Cream paper, deep forest green, a serif with an italic accent and real photos of people at work, so it reads like a trusted local firm, not a bank.

Built to win enquiries:

- Fee calculator: business type, turnover, team and extras give a live monthly price. "Book with this quote" opens the contact form already filled in.

- UK tax-deadline calendar: every 2026/27 date in the CMS, filtered by client type, with due-soon badges, a next-deadline stamp and one-click Add to calendar. Past dates drop off by themselves.

- Three published plans with a featured plan.

Everything runs from the CMS (10 collections), so you can rebrand without touching a layout:

- Services, each with its own page: price from, what's included, related questions and guides.

- Client-type pages for sole traders, contractors, limited companies and charities.

- Case studies with figures, testimonials, a team with credentials, an insights blog with categories and key takeaways, FAQs and one Settings item for every word on the home page.

- Three hero styles to switch in Settings: editorial cover, classic photo or a dashboard with live charts.

Details: a services dropdown from the CMS, a draggable carousel, animated mini dashboards, a case-study switcher and a nav that adapts as you scroll. Motion respects reduced-motion settings.

Responsive from 320 to 1920px, tested in Chrome, Safari and Firefox. Keyboard friendly, alt text on every image, and structured data for local business and FAQs.
