About this template

Most commerce templates stop at the design. The bag looks right, the checkout looks right, and then you find there is nothing behind the Place Order button.

Beetle is the whole thing. A customer browses a category, picks a colour, adds to their bag, applies a promo code, chooses a delivery method and places an order — and the order reaches you, while they get their own confirmation automatically.

HOW ORDERS REACH YOU

• Email — itemised, in your inbox

• Google Sheet — one row per order, Apps Script included • Webhook — JSON to Zapier, Make, n8n or your own endpoint

• Framer Forms — orders in your Framer dashboard

The customer's copy goes out the moment they order: items, total, delivery method, order reference and your payment link, sent from your own inbox so replies come back to you. You write the opening and closing lines in the CMS.

HOW PAYMENT WORKS — READ THIS FIRST

A Framer site cannot process cards, and this template does not pretend otherwise. It captures the order; the money is taken by your own payment link — Stripe, PayPal, Lemon Squeezy, or whichever gateway works in your country. Every order lands in your sheet with an empty "Paid?" column to tick off. That suits made-to-order, deposits, invoices, bank transfer and cash on delivery. It is not a Shopify replacement if you need automatic card capture or self-decrementing stock. The upside: no platform cut, no monthly fee.
